The WAMI Sandbox Demo

The textbox contains a JSGF grammar which defines what the MIT recognizer will be listening for. If this is the first time you've used WAMI, you should receive a popup asking you to 'trust' our application when you click 'Start'. This allows us to access your microphone. When the applet loads, try holding the button down while you say "testing one, two three".

If you have any trouble with recognition, try clicking the "replayx" button and listen to your last recording.

You can change the grammar by typing one into the box and clicking the "Compile Grammar" button. The recognizer will only hear what you tell it to listen for. You should see recognition results appear above the text box as you speak.

You can even try a Chinese or Japanese grammar by changing the language.

To get started integrating the WAMI Javascript API into your website, start by looking at the documentation. For more demos, check out our showcase.
